Labor Laws and Employment Notices

Valencia College employees and applicants may have certain protections under Federal and State law as well as College policy. The information on this page serves as a useful guide for understanding your rights and responsibilities as they relate to employment laws, regulations and requirements. Valencia College is required to provide certain federal and state labor law postings, both online and in college workplaces. Those postings are provided on this website as well as on campuses with other workplace and employment notices and posters.

Please click on poster links below to download. All posters are PDFs and can be viewed and printed using Adobe Acrobat. If you do not have this software, you can download it free here.

Because this list is not inclusive of all laws applicable to the workplace, and because not every employee is subject to every law or regulation, if you have questions about this information or need additional assistance, please contact Organizational Development and Human Resources at HR4U@valenciacollege.edu or call 407-299-5000, extension 4748 (HR4U).
