Peace and Justice Institute

The Peace and Justice Ambassadors program provides students with the opportunity to give back to Valencia and the greater Orlando community by assisting the Peace and Justice Institute with events, projects and activities. The mission of the Peace and Justice Ambassadors is to cultivate student empowerment through activism and outreach that promotes nonviolence, compassion, and dignity for all earthlings, while upholding and embodying the core principles of the Peace and Justice Institute.

Peace and Justice Ambassadors complete 60 hours of service (3 credit hours of SLS 2940) through the Peace and Justice Institute.

Ambassadors meet at the East Campus on Monday 1-2:15 pm for the spring 2018 semester.

If you are interested in being a Peace and Justice Ambassador, please contact the Institute at peaceandjustice@valenciacollege.edu or 407-582-2291.
