Open Position

The CSA is currently looking for someone to serve as the leadership for WInter Park. These positions would begin July 1, 2015.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preside at all campus/center Career Staff Association (CSA) meetings. 
  • Prepare and distribute CSA meeting agendas prior to meeting.   
  • Call all CSA meetings and events. 
  • Act as a spokesperson for all career service employees at their campus/center. 
  • Meet with the CW-CSLA Chair as necessary to discuss concerns and form action plans to address concerns. 
  • Create work teams and other committees to facilitate the functions of the Career Staff Association, as necessary.   
  • Listen to and address concerns brought to their attention by career service employees.   
  • Disseminate information to career service employees at their campus/center regarding the CSA activities. 
  • Attend all CW-CSLA meetings. 
  • Submit all agenda items or issues for discussion CW-CSLA prior to the regular meetings.  Submit these items to the CW- CSLA Secretary/Treasurer. 
  • Meet regularly with campus/center representatives. 
  • Solicit volunteers and select campus/center representatives for the upcoming year.    
  • Maintain the CSA campus webpage. 


Chair - Elect
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist the CSA Chair. 
  • Preside at the CSA meetings in the absence of the CSA Chair. 
  • Represent the CSA Chair upon request.   
  • Assume the duties of the CSA Chair for the unexpired term should the Chair position become vacant. 
  • Meet with the CSA Chair and the CW-CSLA Chair as necessary to address any Association concerns and/or action items. 
  • Attend all CW-CSLA meetings. 
  • Alert the CSA Chair in writing should they need to vacate their position as Chair-Elect. 
  • Responsible for Grapevine

Responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Record minutes and attendance of each CSA meeting and maintain official file of record.    
  • Ensure that CSA minutes are submitted for approval, by those in attendance, at the next campus/center meeting. 
  • Revise, publish, and distribute the approved CSA minutes to all career service employees within a maximum period of fifteen (15) working days following approval. 
  • Keep an up-to-date record of the campus/center CSA membership and representatives. 
  • Send invitations/appointments and reminders to all campus/center career staff employees and invited guests well in advance of CSA meetings and events.    
  • Submit CSA event/meeting information to be posted on the CSA webpage or other publications. 
  • Notify CW-CSLA Chair of representatives who need to be replaced. 
  • Maintain copies of all official CSA correspondence. 
  • Keep a history and photographs of CSA events and activities.  Submit photos, notices, etc. to CSA Chair to be posted on the website or other publications.   
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed account of all monies received and expended by the CSA. 
  • Provide a Treasurer’s report at each regular CSA meeting. 
  • Pay all expenses after approval from CSA.
