Cyber Student Volunteer Initiative: The Cyber Student Volunteer Initiative (CSVI) is designed to give current students an opportunity to work alongside cyber leaders with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Florida Cyber Range: The Florida Cyber Range is a collaboration between the University of West Florida Center for Cybersecurity and Metova CyberCENTS to create a state-of-the-art platform for hands-on cybersecurity education, training, operations and research.

NICE Challenge Web Portal: The NICE Challenge Project was created to develop virtual challenges and environments to test students and professionals alike on their ability to perform NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework tasks and exhibit their knowledge, skills, and abilities. Whether it’s testing skills of professionals or teaching those skills to students, we’ve got you covered.

The National CyberWatch Center: A consortium of higher education institutions, businesses, and government agencies focused on collaborative efforts to advance Information Security education and strengthen the national cybersecurity workforce.

National Cybersecurity Student Association: Nation’s largest association of Cybersecurity students. Cultivating a national community that supports students in their cybersecurity endeavors through extracurricular activities, career opportunities, mentoring, and keeping them at the forefront of cybersecurity trends.

Florida Wing, Civil Air Patrol | United States Air Force Auxiliary: The Informational Technologies Directorate establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department. Analyzes the needs of different departments and determines ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. Manages the research and selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies.

The (ICS)2 Central Florida Chapter: The (ISC)2 Central Florida Chapter is a professional association created by (ISC)2 members for (ISC)2 members and IT / Information security professionals in the community. We focus on providing our members opportunities for education, networking, inspiring and securing within their environments.
While many of our members have a (ISC)2 credential, having a (ISC)2 credential is not required to become a member of the chapter.

CyberWatch West: CyberWatch West is focused on building a comprehensive network of higher education institutions, businesses, and government agencies dedicated to developing and maintaining a robust cybersecurity workforce. CyberWatch West is committed to providing a forum for improving the quality and increasing awareness of cybersecurity issues in educational and industrial communities.

USAJOBS Pathways: The Pathways Program offers federal internship and employment opportunities for current students, recent graduates and those with an advanced degree. There are three different paths available. The Internship Pathway Program is for current students. If you’re a current student in high school, college, trade school or other qualifying educational institution, you may be eligible. This program offers paid opportunities to work in federal agencies and explore federal careers while completing your education.
