ASC Information Desk at the Academic Success Center
Welcome to the ASC Information Desk!
The ASC Information Desk provides learning support resources for
students, staff, and faculty
Student Resources:
Items for Student Check-Out:
- Calculators (TI-84s, TI-89s, TI-83s, and TI-83 Plus)
- Student Textbooks (for Math courses only)
- Headphones
- Student Instructional DVDs (for Math curses and Paralegal Studies)
- Study Rooms (depending upon availability. No reservations. First come, first served).
Most of these items have a 4-hour check-out limit. Double-check your receipt to make sure it's not shorter or longer. Study rooms can only be checked out for 2 hours at a time; they can, however, be re-checked-out unless there is a wait list or a tutoring session.
Late items will be charged a late fee.

After-Hours Paper Drop-Off:
- The ASC Information Desk can collect papers for professors if it's after the department's hours. Make sure that you submit all of the required information and get a receipt from the Desk staff member. The papers are placed in the professor's mailbox.

Center Procedures and Guidelines:
In order to provide a better learning centered environment, we ask you to please
- take cell-phone calls outside
- finish food and drinks outside
- do not bring children or guests
- keep the volume of your conversation and music down
- give priority to students using computers for academic assignments
The availability of tutors is not guaranteed. Each Center, however, strives to provide quality tutoring for most courses offered at Valencia.
