Facilities & Sustainability

Facilities and Sustainability

Valencia's Facilities and Sustainability Department is responsible for the renovation, remodeling, new construction and maintenance at the college. We work with faculty, staff, and administration to develop educational specifications which are used by selected architects and engineers as a guide in the design and development of a building project. Our Plant Operations division is responsible for maintenance, custodial services and grounds for all campuses.

Our office provides assistance and service in the selection, ordering, and installation of furniture throughout the college. Our CADD operation is able to design and provide options to the campuses for minor renovations at the college. We act as the archive and are responsible for all drawings and documents from all projects for the college.

Our Sustainability Group oversees the requirements of the ACUPCC . It works on integrating sustainability in the curriculum, ensures green practices for custodial and grounds services and directs Energy Savings efforts.
