Steps to Enroll

Steps to Enroll

  1. Apply for Admissions to Valencia College.
  2. Apply to the Department of Veterans Affairs for your Educational Benefits.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid (School Code 006750).
  4. Create your Atlas Account.
  5. Apply for Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes.
  6. Take your Entry Testing (required by all students - may include a placement test based on FL 1720 law) .
  7. Check out Valencia scholarships .
  8. Turn in Official Transcripts (including Military) to the Answer Center in person or mail directly to:

    Orlando FL 32802-3028

  10. Sign up for Student Orientation session via your Atlas account.
  11. Register for degree seeking classes.
  12. Collect the Required Documents according to your chapter of benefits and student Category (First Time using benefits, Transfer, Transient)
  13. Visit a Valencia Veteran Services Office
    1. Certify Enrollment
    2. Request a VA Tuition Deferment
  14. Get your student ID at Student Development or Security office depending on your campus.
  15. Get your parking decal at Security.
  16. Get your books and go to class.
