Fall 2014

Minimum overall college GPA (including transfer coursework) will be 3.2.

Minimum overall GPA in the science prerequisites (Anatomy & Physiology I and II and Microbiology) will be 3.0.

Minimum overall GPA in the other nursing prerequisites (PSY2012, DEP2004, ENC1101, HUN2202, and Humanities) will be 3.2.

 

4/18/12 5/15/2012 Only Version 5 of TEAS accepted. Versions 3,4, and NET not accepted.
10/24/12 (updated on application) 10/24/12 Applicants to Generic Nursing who have been enrolled in another college/university Nursing program must provide a letter of good standing from the previous program.

Respiratory Care

12/15/11 For 9/15/2012 application deadline to begin program in January 2013. Removed the HSC 2550 program prerequisite and replaced it with PHY 1007C;
PHY 1007C can be in progress at time of submitting Respiratory Care Program application but must be completed with a minimum grade of C by start of program in January 2013. For January 2013 program start, points for admission will be given for HSC 2550 or PHY 1007C, but points will not be given for both courses.
12/15/11 Application for Spring 2014 PHY 1007C must be completed with a minimum grade of C prior to submitting Respiratory Care Program application
