Health Sciences Advising

Welcome to Health Sciences Advising. Our staff provides specialized educational advisors who guide accepted, in-program allied health and nursing students in the successful completion of an Associate in Science Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree or Certificate Program in allied health or nursing. For the associate level health sciences programs, attendance at a Health Sciences Information Session is mandatory before scheduling an application review appointment with either the Allied Health or Nursing advisors.

The advising staff can answer program-specific questions, assist in career and educational planning, and offer expert educational guidance for students seeking career opportunities through the completion of an A.S. or B.S. Degree or a Certificate program.

Associate in Science students are expected to complete their educational goals and be professionally marketable in a much shorter period of time than many others.

This site is dedicated to providing the information that will help students succeed in their pursuit of Valencia's Associate in Science, Bachelor's and or Certificate programs in a health sciences career. Please utilize all of the online resources under the "Information Sessions," "Guides and Updates" and "Applications and Deadlines" sections of this website.

To better serve students who have not yet been accepted into a limited access program, we have partnered with Enrollment Services and the campus advising centers:
