Can I still apply Fall / Spring / Summer term?

When is the registration deadline?
Register for classes by Sunday, Aug. 23 by 11:59 p.m. It’s important to know that registration is not complete until all fees are paid. Learn more about registration.

How do I apply for scholarships?
Always start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). There may be separate applications for individual scholarships. Take a look at our Scholarship page. International students should look here.

I want to know about the status of my financial aid – what should I do?
Login to Atlas: Click on the Students Tab, then click on Financial Aid found under STUDENT RESOURCES, then click on My Financial Aid. Take me to Atlas.

How do I sign up for the tuition installment plan?
Login to Atlas: Click on the Students Tab, under STUDENT RESOURCES, click Business Office, then click on Account Summary and Tuition and Payment Options and find the link to Sign Up for a Payment Plan.

When is the payment deadline?
The fee payment deadline is Friday, Aug. 14 by 5 p.m. Be sure to pay tuition by this date or you will be dropped from classes. Find out how you can pay.

How do I know what classes to register for?
Its best to develop an education plan that will reflect course requirements and specify the courses in which to enroll each term. You can create an education plan via My Education Plan in Atlas, and you should meet with an advisor/counselor to review your plan.

How do I buy my books?
Books are available at through the Campus Store. If you need assistance or want to purchase books with financial aid, visit the Campus Store website. Students at Downtown Campus should visit this bookstore.

My class is online – when does it meet?
Classes online will have flexible schedules, check with your professor. Some classes (Real-Time Virtual) have designated days and times to meet, just like you would come to campus to attend class. Specific course information can be found in Atlas, on the Courses tab, under MY COURSES. Take me to Atlas or learn more about classes online.

How do I access my online class?
Canvas is the tool used to deliver classes online—it uses the same username and password used to access Atlas. Learn more about Canvas. Login to Canvas.

How do I access tutoring?
Valencia College offers tutoring via Zoom online as well as on-demand options.  Tutoring schedules vary by term and subject area. Check out Learning Support or  go to online tutoring.
