Digital Marquee Signs

Eye-catching tool for events, info and directions

The digital marquees located at the entrance of some campuses offer a unique and effective way to promote your message. Before you create content for a marquee, take note of a few tips and guidelines.

Guidelines

1

Your message is readable for just a few seconds as viewers drive into campus.

2

Keep copy as short as possible, five words or so.

3

Use large, simple design elements.

4

Contrast: make sure there is plenty of contrast between background and design elements, especially for text—light on dark or dark on light.

5

Use bold, sans-serif fonts for text, like Montserrat.
