Recommendations

Our preferred recommendation is to minimize the number of lines. The college name was omitted from the recommended signature on purpose to reduce the number of lines.

We understand that people would expect the name of the organization to appear in the signature line, and that they may want to include a mobile number or omit a fax number. An appropriate alternative would be to include “Valencia College” immediately after the employee’s name and add/omit the necessary numbers, after the telephone number.

To the right is an email correspondence that falls short of the clean, legible and streamlined example from above.
