Current Interns
Current Interns, your health and safety is our number one priority. Since classes
are moving online for the rest of Spring term as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic,
you should not continue going to your internship site’s physical location. We ask
that students discuss with your internship site supervisor if you can complete the
remaining weeks and hours of your internship remotely. Your internship site supervisors
have been notified of the change in the college’s status as well as our recommendation
to allow you to complete your internships remotely if possible. If you are unable
to complete your internship remotely and you have not met all of the required hours,
your Faculty Internship Supervisor may assign supplemental online assignments to help
you complete your Spring 2020 internship course.
It is critical to remain active and professional in your communication with your internship
site supervisor and your faculty internship supervisor. You will need to discuss next
steps immediately with your internship site supervisor and keep your faculty supervisor
informed. Please contact your faculty supervisor as soon as possible with an update
of your internship status.
If you have questions for your Campus Internship Coordinator or need additional assistance, please contact them directly.
Please be safe and let us know how we can support you!
