Film Technology

The Film Production Technology program offers an intensive curriculum of experiential learning that immerses students in the entire film making process. Valencia's nationally recognized program nurtures passionate storytellers while training students in the technical aspects of film production - from pre through post-production. Production-related skills include camera, grip, electrical, sound, editing, set construction, production management & assistant directing. The classroom moves from lectures, workshops to partnerships with film and television productions, during which students work as the crew and learn from distinguished industry professionals. Classes are hands-on and are taught by professional film makers. In fact, Valencia's Film Production program has been called "one of the best film schools in the country" by renowned director Steven Spielberg.
