General Tutoring

General tutoring services are available on East Campus for students enrolled in Computer Programming, Biology (Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition), Chemistry, and Physics courses.  In an effort to provide efficient service, these services are available on a drop-in basis - no appointment is necessary.

Learning Lab 

Located in the East Campus Learning Support Center, the Learning Lab is dedicated to helping students develop essential skills for academic success. We offer personalized academic coaching, interactive workshops, and a supportive community designed to help you excel.

Topics covered include, but are not limited to:

  • Time management and organization
  • Reading and note-taking strategies
  • Test prep and test-taking strategies
  • Metacognition and self-regulated learning
  • Growth mindset and motivation    

Our coaches provide individualized support to help you develop and apply metacognitive skills, which involves being aware of and managing your own learning processes. Through one-on-one sessions, you'll gain insights into effective learning strategies, set meaningful academic goals, and build on your strengths.
