The Five Signs of Emotional Distress- Nearly one in every five people, or 42.5 million American adults, has a diagnosable mental health condition. Often our friends, neighbors, co-workers, and even family members are suffering emotionally and don't recognize the symptoms or ask for help. Join us to learn the Five Signs as well as resources to help yourself or a loved one in distress

Leadership Inventory- This session will be activity based and introduce participants to three different leadership inventories that align with the Student Development values: Leadership, community, personal connection, education. Students will be introduced to student engagement opportunities, Student Organizations and programming based on their inventory results.

Preparing from Transfer Scholarship Applications- This Skillshop will cover prestigious awards like the Jack Kent Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, Phi Theta Kappa transfer awards, and Hispanic Scholarship Fund awards, as well as general institutional transfer awards (UCF, UF, etc.). During the Skillshop, students will work through a self-evaluation to determine their competitiveness for these awards. They will also start developing their personal action plan to improve their competitiveness and best prepare for the award application cycle.
