Get ready for an epic Outdoor Arts Festival, brought to you by Student Development & the School of Art, Entertainment, and Design – it's the ultimate event!  Unleash your creativity at crafting stations where you can make cool stuff to take home on the spot. Dance your heart out to the hottest beats and refuel with free snacks! Plus, connect with local arts organizations eager to dish out exciting job and volunteer opportunities. It's the perfect chance to have a blast, explore your artistic side, and dive into the vibrant arts scene right here on campus and at Valencia College. Don't miss out – it's an artsy adventure made just for you!

See our talented student musicians in action! Please come in and observe the ensemble in rehearsal as its members prepare repertoire for the 2024 spring series of music concerts! Watch as the faculty instructor masterfully conducts the ensemble, bringing exciting musical works to life right before your eyes…and ears! New participants will be observes and have the opportunity to meet both students and the professor.

Helena Trio

Humanities Speaker Series & Master Musician Series

The Helena Trio will present an enriching program of works by female composers comprised of Hildegard von Bingen, Gwyneth Walker, and Libby Larsen, in addition to some classic works by Richard Strauss and the moving spirituals of Harry T Burleigh.  The Helena Collective is committed to perform music that elevates and illuminates the female experience. Recent performances have included Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben cycle and Argento's from The Diary of Virginia Woolf. Helena won the 2019 Critic's Choice Award at the Orlando Fringe Festival for their original production, 6 of VIII: The Six Wives of Henry VIII. 
 Time: 7:30 p.m.
 Venue: East Campus Performing Arts Center

The photo art exhibit will be displayed via IG and on campus TV. The art submissions will be accepted February 1st - February 21st via sdlakenonacampus Instagram or email at studentdevlnc@valenciacollege.edu. The submissions will be shared online or TVs throughout the week of Feb. 26th - Feb 29th (Spring Arts Week).
