Spring Arts Week

2025 Festival has been postponed

What Is Spring Arts Week?

Spring Arts Week is a celebration of the creative community across Valencia College. It is a week of arts saturation that spans eight campus locations. Our slogan is, "See Art Everywhere."

How It Works

In the fall, Registered Student Organizations (RSOs), faculty, and staff propose creative projects, workshops and open classes. The Spring Arts Week team then curates the festival events from these proposals. The festival is held the week before Spring Break and facilitates one week of arts saturation across eight Valencia College campuses. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend. All events are free.

Session Categories

Open Classes
In these sessions, teachers open up a regularly occurring class session to the general public for participation or observation. If a student is curious about a specific subject or teacher, this is an excellent opportunity to get a feel for what the class might be like.
Performances And Exhibitions
In these sessions everyone is invited to experience crafted performances or finished artwork. These sessions may be organized by faculty, staff, or RSOs. Valencia students, staff, and faculty are the featured artists.
Workshops
In these sessions, students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in hands-on training. These workshops are not connected to existing classes but are unique to the festival. Workshop facilitators may be local artists, Valencia faculty and staff, or talented students working in collaboration with a Registered Student Organization.
