Drop in to see what happens in an Acting 1 class at Valencia College. The class activities will focus around the actor tools of objectives, obstacles, and tasks. Those not enrolled in the class will be welcome to participate in select activities. Register HERE

After Effects Basics (Workshop)

Dominic DiPaolo

Join Professor Dominic DiPaolo, Interim Chair of Digital Media at Valencia College for a workshop on basic skills in After Effects. In this one hour session you will learn the After Effects interface, Keyframes, and basic animation principles. Learn how to create assets, and animate them in as we animate a pick up truck together.

Introduction to Humanities: Collaborative Painting Workshop(Open Class)

We will work together to create a series of themed paintings inspired by the Spring Arts Week theme "In Pursuit of Truth". Canvases will be available and actively used to create works. Those not enrolled in the class will be welcome to participate in select activities. Please wear clothing you can get messy in!

ARH 1000 - Art Appreciation: Collaborative Painting & Artist talk(Open Class)

Working with local artists students will create a mural or collaborative inspired piece following the theme of arts week "In Pursuit of Truth.” Those not enrolled in the class will be welcome to participate in select activities. Please wear clothing you can get messy in!

Spanish Language Play Reading

Descolonizarte Teatro and the Spanish Language Program

Join us for an evening of directed theatrical readings created in collaboration with the Osceola Campus Spanish Language Classes and local theatre company Descolonizarte Teatro. Plays read in Spanish (English Translation Service Available) will include short plays developed by students, as well as short works written by playwright and Spanish professor, Juan Gabriel Villegas Berrios. Following the reading, please join us for light refreshments in the auditorium lobby.

Time: 6:00 p.m.
