Dental Hygiene Program

Services Provided

Cleaning (Prophy) & X-Rays for an additional $20.00 (x-rays require a prescription from your dentist), fluoride application and sealants. Valencia’s dental hygiene program supports a fully functional dental hygiene clinic where students provide preventive dental hygiene services to the general public (We do not perform extractions or restorative work).

Our Hours of operations are Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am to 5pm  

Appointments

Appointments last for approximately 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours in length and some patients may need to return for more than one appointment. The cost is $20.00 for a dental cleaning. This fee covers the entire treatment and will not be required to pay until your cleaning is completed (some patients require a 3 or 6 month recall depending on calculus build-up). We accept walk-in patients on a first-come-first-serve basis during our clinic hours, provided we have cancelations.

Valencia College is a learning institution; we are not a dental provider. Therefore, we cannot guarantee appointments. However, we do our best to schedule as many patients as possible during the times our clinic is open.

The dental hygiene program is fully accredited by the American Dental Association’s Commission on Dental Accreditation.
