The Challenge We Face
While community colleges serve more than 40% of the undergraduates in the United States and function as engines of economic mobility, less than 2% of the $50 billion in philanthropic gifts contributed annually to higher education is directed toward community colleges. We see this as an opportunity to innovate, to redirect resources not just for change's sake, but to have a profound and lasting impact on the lives of our students and the community we serve. We are seeking an innovative leader who is ready to challenge the status quo and be a part of changing the landscape of community college philanthropy.
