Black Advisory Committee
The Black Advisory Committee (BAC) was established in 1970 and exists to support the overall goals of Valencia College.
BAC Purpose Statement
The Black Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between Valencia College and the Black community by providing advice and direction to the Valencia College Board of Trustees and President on issues impacting Black students, administration, faculty, staff and businesses to fulfill the College's learning-centered mission.
The 2020 Black Advisory Committee Incentive AwardsEach year, the Black Advisory Committee honors a number of students who have persisted and succeeded at the College despite great adversity.

Every year, the Black Advisory Committee awards scholarships to current Valencia College students.
The BAC holds five meetings annually, plus the Annual Incentive Awards during the month of December.
