Valencia College Veteran Services provides essential resources and support for our Veterans, Active-Duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel, their spouses and dependents. We vow to assist those whose lives are connected to the military, as they transition and learn to navigate through the college experience.
The laws dealing with the different veteran benefit programs are complex and change quite often. Our Veterans Affairs team can help reduce potential hardships by connecting you with the resources available. Students are Required to Certify Each Term
Veteran students shall not be automatically renewed for benefits and certified each term. All veteran students are to submit a certification request for benefits each term. The veteran student who submits a certification request form is agreeing to have their benefits requested and certified by Valencia College.
College Financing Plan
Valencia College is committed to using the College Financing Plan (Shopping Sheet) to all prospective veteran and service members. The personalized Shopping Sheet contains standardized information describing the cost of attending, and the federal and state financial aid which is available.
The College Financing Plan is made available through the MyVC web login.
Priority Registration for Veteran Students
Veteran students are granted priority registration before the start of each new term. Priority registration dates are communicated to students via their Valencia College email, and students should check their time ticket to confirm their specific registration date.
Campuses are open. The VA Office has a limited number of in person appointments are available on an as needed basis. In order to request an appointment you must contact us by phone or email. Students may drop in to visit the VA office at West Campus.
