Suicide Prevention Training (QPR)

QPR (Question, Persuade & Refer) Gatekeeper Training will help you build skills to recognize when someone is experiencing a mental health crisis, how to respond effectively and how to offer hope during this challenging time.  Additionally, you will learn about the warning signs related to someone contemplating to end their life.  This training is free to students, faculty and staff and is supported through funding by the SAMHSA [Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration] Behavioral Health Grant – 1H79SM080474.

For students, please visit the Skillshops website to register for the next QPR session. For faculty and staff, you can view session availability through the Valencia Edge Portal.
