LinkedIn Learning is an online video course library taught by industry experts in software, creative and business skills. It was founded in 1995 by Lynda Weinman as Lynda.com before being acquired in 2015 by LinkedIn. In 2017, Lynda.com was renamed LinkedIn Learning.
With more than 15,000 courses and personalized recommendations, LinkedIn Learning allows you to discover, complete and track courses related to your major, field and interests. Courses can be accessed with desktops and mobile devices. This leading educational platform is now available to all Valencia College students, faculty and staff.

Frequently Asked Questions
All current students and employed administrators, faculty and staff (including federal and institutional work-study) have the ability to access the LinkedIn Learning platform.
As an active Valencia College student or employee, you may go to LinkedIn Learning and do the following:
- Enter your Atlas credentials (username and password).
- Approve an option for authentication when prompted.
- Complete a short enrollment process the first time you access the new platform.
- OPTIONAL: If you link your LinkedIn and LinkedIn Learning accounts when you register for LinkedIn Learning, you will be asked to access LinkedIn. Enter your LinkedIn login information.
- If you did not link a LinkedIn account to LinkedIn Learning, you will be taken directly to LinkedIn Learning.
If you experience issues with logging in, email the Employee Development team at firstname.lastname@example.org. For technical issues after logging in to LinkedIn Learning, use the help features throughout the system, including LinkedIn Learning's robust FAQ, or connect via email, live chat or phone.

When activating your LinkedIn Learning account, you will have an option to connect your LinkedIn profile. Should you decide not to connect your accounts during the activation stage you can do so anytime using the 'Connect My Profile' option at the top of your learning dashboard when logged into LinkedIn Learning.

If you wish to disconnect your profile due to privacy concerns, please note that even when the profile is connected to your LinkedIn Learning account, Valencia College can only see your LinkedIn profile picture and the information you've set to be public.

LinkedIn Learning courses are not eligible for Faculty Development professional development (PD) credit. LinkedIn Learning courses cannot be used towards incentive plans, programs or certifications offered by Faculty Development.
