Lake Nona Campus
Welcome to the Lake Nona Campus! Our faculty and staff are excited to help our students achieve their goals. The Lake Nona Campus has been designed with a tremendous attention to detail, with unique features that we believe support a collaborative learning environment, including a beautiful outdoor space and an open design library and learning support area.
Valencia College is excited to be a partner in Lake Nona Medical City. The Lake Nona Campus contains 18 classrooms, 2 computer labs, 6 science labs, learning support services (including tutoring, assessment services, and computer access), a campus store, a café, a library and an amazing outdoor courtyard for student events.

Biotechnology Laboratory Sciences
Associate in Science (A.S.) The Biotechnology Laboratory Sciences Associate in Science (A.S.) degree at Valencia College is a two-year program that prepares you to go directly into a specialized career in one of the hottest emerging fields today.
Biotechnology technicians assist in laboratory experiments and research for genetic modification used to create useful products for medicine, food, agriculture and alternative energy sources. Through Valencia’s program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of biotechnology while gaining hands-on experience through lab work and internship experience. The program emphasizes broad biology and chemistry concepts, basic microbiology, algebraic and statistical analysis, biohazard and safety procedures and core biotechnical laboratory techniques. College-level math is required.
The Collegiate Academy at Lake Nona High School, developed in partnership with Valencia College, is an accelerated academic program that provides Lake Nona High School students with the opportunity to take college courses while still in high school. These dually enrolled Lake Nona High School and Valencia College students experience selected college-level courses while receiving academic support and guidance from both institutions.
