Training and Certifications
Valencia College Continuing Education offers the following courses to our industry partners in the community: CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA A+ Certifications Preparation. Valencia provides workforce testing at our Continuing Education Testing Center. Through our partnerships with national and international testing organizations, we offer hundreds of certification and licensing exams. For those who need to prepare beforehand, Continuing Education also offers a wide variety of preparation courses for industry-specific tests and certifications. The Employee Development program at Valencia College offers the following on-demand course to faculty and staff: Information Security Essentials. Implementing email security with Outlook 2010; Forms and Document Security in Adobe Acrobat 8; Financial Information Security Red Flags training; and Using E-mail, the Internet, and Social Media Safely in a Corporate Environment.
