Cybersecurity Programs
Pathways
Valencia College and the University of Maine at Augusta have partnered in establishing an articulation agreement, allowing Valencia students to earn a BS degree in Cybersecurity. 75% of the degree will be completed at Valencia with only 36 Cr/hrs. taken online at UMA. The cost of tuition at UMA is comparable to that at UCF. UMA is a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CD). UMA was awarded the CAE-CD certificate because the program curricula have been designed to meet the stringent academic standards of the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The B.S. in Cybersecurity is the first ever system collaborated degree program to be recognized by the CAE-CD.
