Enterprise Application Services
The Enterprise Application Services area of the Office of Information Technology provides maintenance, support, and development of various PC, network-based, applications and systems at the college.
Achievements
Valencia college recieved funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act for emergency relief to students. As of Wednesday, June 17, 2020, more than 17,000 students certifying adverse impact from the pandemic had received $12.8 million ($750 each).
Enterprise Application Services, in conjunction with Financial Aid, Student Affairs & the Grants office, developed an online application that would allow students to securely request funds. New functions were developed to allow quick disbursement of the funds to our students in need. A final round of fund disbursement provided by the Valencia Foundation is being developed to launch in October 2020.
