What is a Private Scholarship?

A private scholarship is scholarship that is not offered through Valencia College, Valencia Foundation or Valencia Alumni. Private donors send scholarship offers from their companies and businesses for any students who meet their criteria to apply for. Private scholarship offers are added regularly so check back often!

NuView Treatment Center Scholarship Opportunity $100009/30/2021

NuView Treatment Center is offering a $1000 scholarship to college students who are willing to write a story about how addiction has affected their life. We are interested in your story. If you have recovered from a substance use disorder or if a loved one’s addiction has affected your life, your story is valuable.

FESCO Innovative Scholarship $100010/01/2021

We have easy opportunities to roll in for students. The main task you have to do is to write an article, blog post, or essay related to the FESCO. You can also write an informational article about FESCO BILL, FESCO TARIFF BILL. To simplify things for you, it’s important to have thorough information and experience related to FESCO. Article should have 500-600 words.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Up to $800010/05/2021

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a grant program that enables students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad, thereby gaining skills critical to our national security and economic competitiveness. Open to U.S. citizen undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at a two-year or four-year college or university to participate in study and intern abroad programs worldwide.

2021 Care Throughout the Ages Scholarship $100010/31/2021

Juvenile Justice Scholarship $100012/31/2021

Since 1998 Mark Sherman has been committed to serving his clients and enabling justice to be had, and prides himself on giving them the highest level of professional care. Following this mission, Mark has established the Juvenile Justice Scholarship to support up and coming lawyers. The Law Offices of Mark Sherman, based in Stamford, Connecticut, is pleased to announce that we are offering a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to one student who has an interest in working with young people who have already been convicted of a crime and been sent to jail. We want to support them in seizing new opportunities and giving them the means to be a success in their community. This student may have also experienced and overcome adversity in their life and can relate to these juveniles who are rebuilding their lives once out of jail.
