EXPLORE

With 10 locations across Orange and Osceola counties, there’s bound to be a Valencia College campus that’s convenient for your student. The best way to get a sense of what we’re really like is to Explore Valencia College. Take a virtual tour or RSVP for an upcoming information session to learn more and see why Valencia College is right for your student.

ENROLL

New student orientation is required and is currently being offered through email. We welcome parents, family and friends to read it as well because you play such an important role in your student’s success. Encourage your student to complete Orientation as it covers topics such as educational support resources, registration, residency, financial aid, campus safety and more. Learn About Parent and Family Orientation.

PAYING FOR CLASSES

There are various types of financial aid that might be available to your student. The first step in the financial aid process is to complete the FAFSA application. Scholarships are another form of financial aid and are awarded based on factors such as academic talent, special interest or financial need, and do not require repayment. Through the interest-free tuition installment plan (TIP), tuition and book expenses can be paid over time, rather than in one lump sum. Other types of tuition payment include the Florida Prepaid College Plan.

For deadlines related to fee payment, residency, application priority and more, access our Important Dates and Deadlines Calendar.

GET STARTED

Before the start of classes, have your student view their Student Detail Schedule found in Atlas. Visit the online Campus Store to purchase books and other class materials. After that, they’re all set to start classes. Review the Important Dates and Deadlines calendar for details ranging from the start of the semester and holidays to the drop/refund deadline and final exam schedules.
