Information Security at Valencia College Training (mandatory annual training required by Valencia) - The Information Security at Valencia College Training educates employees on protecting sensitive information and maintaining cybersecurity standards. It begins with an overview of information security's importance and the potential threats within an educational setting.

The training reviews Valencia College’s data protection and cybersecurity policies, emphasizing employees' responsibilities in safeguarding student records and institutional data. It covers best practices for handling sensitive information, understanding data privacy laws, and reporting data breaches.

Steps to complete the training:

  1. Log in to Atlas.
  2. Navigate to the Employees tab.
  3. Find the My Development channel and click on the VC EDGE portal.
  4. Search for "Information Security at Valencia College Training."
  5. Complete the course.
