The Valencia College Downtown Campus, a shared campus with UCF, will serve our downtown community and improve countless lives through the power of education.
Set to open in fall 2019, the Valencia College Downtown Campus* in partnership with the University of Central Florida, will offer a multitude of programs, certificates and training to increase access to education in the immediate downtown Orlando area. Valencia College will lead all of the general studies classes for both colleges, providing you with a seamless transition into a career, or on to a program at UCF through the DirectConnect™ to UCF program.

Areas of Study
Home to the School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality, the downtown campus will fulfill the need for hospitality and culinary workers in an industry expected to grow 10.8 percent in Central Florida through 2023. You’ll have an opportunity to learn from award-winning chefs, work with state-of-the-art culinary tools and train in a variety of cuisines—everything you need to land a successful career upon graduation.
The campus will also offer Accelerated Skills Training programs that will give you an opportunity to prepare for high-demand, higher-wage careers in a short amount of time-from Mechatronics to Transportation Logistics to Electronic Board Assembly.

With student housing, you’ll be able to live where you learn. The downtown campus includes many safety features to create a vibrant learning and working environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. You’ll be in the center of a community where you can get actively involved in campus activities and events, interact with a diverse group of students, and take advantage of other campus resources.
Valencia College admitted students can begin the housing application process for the student housing facility at the Downtown Campus, known as UnionWest at Creative Village.
