UFit is a co-recreational wellness program that promotes healthy, active lifestyles for our students and employees. With the goal to provide participants with a variety of activities to begin or continue with physical fitness in a safe and comfortable environment, UFit was established in 2014 and is funded generously by student activity fees.
The UFit Program consists of fitness classes, sports leagues, skillshops, tournaments, the Osceola Campus Fitness Center, and more (for clarification: the fitness centers at the West and East Campuses are not operated by the UFit Program). Through recreational activity, we hope participants enrich their collegiate experience through social interaction, spirit of sportsmanship, and overall state of well-being.
The UFit Program at Osceola Campus offers a variety of activities in hopes of tending to as many students, faculty and staff as possible. The program offers access to the Fitness Center, educational skillshops, weekly pick-up games (soccer, volleyball, etc.), weekly fitness classes (zumba, dance, yoga, etc.) and a basketball league. The schedule may vary throughout semesters.
The UFit Program is offered to all students at no cost.
Faculty and Staff are asked to pay an annual fee of $25 for a year-long membership.
For more information about UFit or how to join, visit the Student Development Office at Osceola Campus, or stop by the Osceola Campus Fitness Center during operating hours.
