CTE Camps Offer Students A Glimpse Of The Future

Students from Osceola County High Schools got the chance to see future educational and career options at 'camps' held at Valencia College's Osceola, Poinciana, and Lake Nona Campuses, as well as at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center in Kissimmee. In January and February of 2018, camps were held in the areas of Advanced Manufacturing, Biotechnology, Construction, Criminal Justice, Culinary, Graphics, Hotel & Tourism, Residential Property Management. Some of the over 200 attendees for these hands-on learning days are part of the School District of Osceola County's Career Pathways programs. The Title V Osceola Grant seeks to increase the number of these Career Pathways students who are coming to Valencia.
