Electives and Pathway-Specific Information

The AA degree requires 24 credits of electives. Some electives may have been pre-filled into the term-by-term plan based on your pathway. If you are missing the Foreign Language or Civic Literacy requirements, you may need to use elective space to satisfy these.

• Starting your math sequence higher than MAT 1033C will save time, money, and elective space; prepare and test for proper math level placement.
• If you meet the requirements to bypass MAT 1033C or CHM 1025C, you would have elective space for PHY 2049C.
• Additional UCF requirements offered at Valencia: EDF 2130^. UCF admissions requirement specific to the program: Minimum 2.5 overall GPA and at least a “C” or better in EDF 2005. It is highly recommended to pass all four parts of the General Knowledge Test before transfer.
• To skip CHM 1025C, a minimum grade of C in either CHM 1025C or one year of high school chemistry; and MAC 1105 or honor's high school Algebra II with a minimum grade of C is required to enroll into CHM 1045C.
