Program Overview
In this one-credit honors elective course, IDH 2955, students will explore the cultural and political history of England and Scotland through interdisciplinary perspectives. Students will examine the cultural history of England and Scotland from the Roman era to present through visits to archaeological attractions as well as through immersive city explorations and cultural experiences that convey the unique history and culture of the British. Students will gain an insight into what it means to be a constitutional monarchy through visits to Scottish and U.K. Parliaments.
