Course Wrappers
Course Wrappers provide students with a one-on-one coaching session with a learning support professional who is specifically trained to help students achieve their education goals and support their course success. During the session, students will complete one or more assessments to help identify their unique strengths, and identify an area of growth and development. All students will learn about the free college resources designed to help support students and their learning. At the conclusion of the session, students will complete a reflection and write a plan of action for their next term.

Course Wrapper Process for Students
- Register for Retake Course(s)
- Sign up for one or more of the eligible courses listed above.
- If you haven’t enrolled yet, or if you’re having any issues with registration, connect with Advising Services for assistance.
- Attend a Coaching Session - At least one required
- Meet with a learning support professional to complete the intake form and receive personalized academic support.
- No appointment is necessary.
- You can attend an in-person session at designated locations on any Valencia College campus or join a virtual session through Online Tutoring.
- Each session usually lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on individual needs.
- You’re welcome to attend as many sessions as needed.
- Complete the Action Plan - One for each course
- Fill out and submit the Action Plan assignment(s) in the "QEP Course Wrapper for Students" Canvas course.
- This step may be completed independently or with the guidance of a learning support professional, durring a session.
