Bachelor of Science (B.S.)

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at Valencia College is an online RN to BSN program.  The online RN to BSN program provides an opportunity for individuals who hold an A.S. degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution to further their education and increase their potential for career advancement.

The RN to BSN degree program is an online and limited access program. Applicants must have completed an eligible nursing degree program and provide proof of a current unencumbered Florida nursing license or eligibility to obtain a Florida nursing license.

Steps for Admission to Program

  1. Attend a Nursing Information Session and review and program requirements in the online Valencia catalog:
  2. Complete the Bachelor's Degree & ATC application for admission to Valencia College and select B.S. Nursing as planned course of study.
  3. Submit final official transcripts from high school and all previously attended colleges and universities with one denoting completion of an Associate of Nursing Degree (AN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Associate in Science in Nursing (ASN), or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) from a regionally accredited institution.
  4. Receive notification from the Valencia Admissions Office of acceptance to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program.
  5. Following program admission, complete the online Bachelor's New Student Orientation.
  6. Confer with the Bachelor's Nursing Advisor if assistance is needed relative to course selection, registration and/or getting started in the program.
