How to Apply


Application Checklist & Packet

Students interested in the program should contact their school representative for additional information.  Approved students must complete a program application and demonstrate the required level of English proficiency. Students who meet the language requirement will be invited to attend a Disney International Programs recruitment presentation and interview with a Disney recruiter.  Those selected for participation will submit the required application fee and supporting documents. Valencia College will then issue the DS-2019 form provide the J Exchange Visitor Pre-Arrival Packet. Once the student receives confirmation that their visa has been issued,the remaining program fees must be paid to their home institution.

Student Eligibility Requirements

In order for students to be enrolled in this program, they must satisfy the following requirements:

  • The student’s primary purpose in the United States must be to study rather than work.
  • The student must be in good academic standing and currently enrolled at their home institution.
  • The Academic Training Practicum must be directly related to the student's major field of study.
  • The student must demonstrate the required level of English proficiency. Students should be able to communicate effectively in routine academic, professional,and social situations, discuss topics related to their studies, work, and personal interest.
  • The student must have completed at least one year of study at their home institution before the start of the program.
  • There must be a current partnership agreement between Valencia College and the student's home institution.

Please note: Valencia College is not currently accepting new partner institutions for this program. Participation is limited to students enrolled at existing partner schools with an active agreement. For a list of current partner institutions, please contact our office.
