Seneff Honors College

Fall 2026 Application Information

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2026 admission to the Seneff Honors College.

To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • 3.25 or higher overall GPA
  • Enough courses still available in the degree program to earn an honors distinction by graduation
  • Plan on earning an AA degree from Valencia College
  • Submit a completed honors application, including all supplemental materials, by the below deadlines.

The Fall 2026 Honors Admission Deadlines are as follows:

  • Application deadline – May 15 
  • Supplemental materials deadline – May 22  

Admissions decisions will be sent to all applicants in late June.

Honors Information Sessions

Prospective honors students and their families are encouraged to attend an Honors Information Session to learn more about Honors at Valencia College and how to apply for Fall 2026 admission to the Seneff Honors College. Honors Information Sessions are held over Zoom on select Tuesdays throughout the admissions cycle.

Summer & Fall 2026 Honors Class Options 
If you are interested in taking an honors class in Summer or Fall 2026, the Honors Course Request Form is now available.

  • Summer 2026 Honors Class Requests: We are reviewing summer honors class requests on a periodic, space-available basis until the Summer 2026 Fee Payment Deadline (5pm ET on May 1, 2026) or all honors class sections are at capacity - whichever comes first. 
  • Fall 2026 Honors Class Requests: We will not review fall honors class requests until after July 7, 2026, to allow newly admitted honors students the opportunity to register for honors classes. After July 7th, we will review fall honors class requests on a periodic, space-available basis until the Fall 2026 Fee Payment Deadline (5pm ET on Aug. 14, 2026) or all honors class sections are at capacity - whichever comes first.
