Students can apply to the Seneff Honors College. Students in the Seneff Honors College can earn an Honors Diploma in one of the two available curriculum tracks: Leadership track and Undergraduate Research track.
How to Apply
1 Apply to Valencia College. Once admitted, set up your Atlas account.
2 Apply to the Seneff Honors College. The “Application to the Seneff Honors College” is located in your Atlas account under the Students tab Student Forms Applications.
- Students are encouraged to first write their 500-word admission essay and save their final version as a Word or PDF file prior to beginning their application in Atlas. The essay prompt is, “The Seneff Honors College is an academic program that seeks to discover potential in students and inspire excellence. Why are you applying to this academic program? What do you hope to gain from and contribute to the Seneff Honors College?” Students are expected to answer both questions in the prompt.
3 Submit one letter of recommendation.
- Current high school students: Request your letter from an educational professional (i.e. advisor, teacher). Email your letter directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Current Valencia College students: Request your letter from Valencia faculty or staff employee or have them complete the Valencia online recommendation
- All other applicants: Request your letter from an educational professional (i.e. advisor, teacher). Email your letter directly to email@example.com. If you have been out of school for more than two years, we will accept a letter from an employer.
4 Regularly check your Atlas email for status updates on your application and requests for additional supporting documents (i.e. test scores, transcripts).
