Intake Appointment

After the student’s documentation has been reviewed and approved, an intake appointment with an OSD advisor is required. Intake appointments are available in person, virtual (via Zoom) and by telephone. During the intake meeting the student is expected to explain how their disability impacts their learning. Accommodations will be discussed during this appointment.

Processing Time

Students should allow up to two weeks for the documentation to be processed and reviewed. During this time a representative from the Office for Students with Disabilities will contact you about scheduling the intake appointment or request additional documentation for approval.

Registration Status

Until all required documentation is submitted and reviewed, the student’s status with our OSD will remain Pending. The student will not be eligible for services or accommodations until the registration process is complete. Incomplete files will be retained for one academic term and then destroyed. Students may re-initiate the registration process at any time by contacting the OSD office.
