Financial Aid

Florida residents can earn an associate degree from Valencia College in as little as two years, for just over $6,000. That makes Valencia College tuition and fees the lowest among Central Florida’s state colleges. The cost is about half as much as a public, four-year university, and even less than that for many private colleges. In addition, Valencia College offers plenty of financial aid options to help you pay for school.

Grants

Grants are forms of institutional, state and federal aid that do not have to be repaid. They are awarded to students who show financial need on the FAFSA.

Student loans must be repaid, but have a fairly low interest rate. From Federal Direct Education Loans, which are established and supported by the federal government, to loans from private institutions, there are plenty of options to borrow money for school.

Work Study programs are available to students with financial need. Those who qualify can work up to 20 hours per week either on campus, or as a reading tutor in a local public school.

Tuition Installment Plan (Tip)

Valencia College offers an interest-free tuition installment plan to help you pay for school – we call it “TIP.” It allows you to pay for tuition and book expenses over time rather than one lump sum. No credit checks are required.
