In Memory Of Dr. Brenda Schumpert
Dr. Brenda Schumpert was a Biology Professor and Pre-Med Club Advisor at Valencia College. Dr. Schumpert founded the Pre-Med Club in 2010.
She was born in San Deigo, California and received her bachelors degree in Biology from the University of California San Diego. She then went to Grad school at the University of Washington Seattle to receive her PhD in Zoology.
Dr. Schumpert worked as a Biology 1 and 2 Professor at Velencia College from 2007-2014. She also mentored students in undergraduate research projects (Plankton Monitoring Network, DNA sequencing projects).
