Semiconductor Cleanroom Operator
Technical Certificate
In today’s world, nearly every electronic device we use, from smartphones to cars, relies on a key technology: semiconductors. These tiny, yet powerful materials are the unsung heroes behind the screens, circuits, and chips that make our devices work.
The Valencia College Semiconductor Cleanroom Operator Technical Certificate (T.C.) will prepare you with a broad background in semiconductor technologies and applications. You’ll learn how to maintain and operate cleanroom facilities and ensure they are aligned with the protocols of a safe cleanroom environment.
This T.C. can satisfy up to 18 college credits towards the completion of the A.S. degree in Semiconductor Engineering Technology.
The Associate in Science to Bachelor of Science (A.S. to B.S) track can transfer to UCF to complete a bachelor’s degree in Semiconductor Engineering Technology. This A.S. to B.S. option requires you to follow a specific degree pathway.
The T.C. courses can also satisfy elective credits for the general studies degree. Additional general education courses are required for the completion of the A.A. transfer plan to one of the state universities or state colleges in Florida.
