Jones and Evans High School College Access Program
2025 graduates of Jones High School and Evans High School have an opportunity to attend Valencia College through the College Access Program. You have up to five years to earn one credential, including an associate degree or technical certificate, or complete Accelerated Skills Training (AST)—a short-term program that prepares you for a high-demand job in two to 28 weeks. You must enroll at Valencia College within one year of high school completion.

Your first step to attending Valencia College for free is to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The College Access Program will pay any tuition and fees not covered by your FAFSA award.
The result is that you pay no out-of-pocket costs for tuition and fees when you attend Valencia College for an associate degree, technical certificate or Accelerated Skills Training. Your Valencia College application fee is even free.

Your standard high school diploma guarantees you admission to Valencia College.
Eligibility is based on meeting these requirements:
- Must be a 2025 graduate of Jones High School or Evans High School with a standard high school diploma (no GED or homeschool).
- Must complete all steps to enrollment, including Residency for Tuition Purposes where applicable.
- Must be enrolled at Valencia College as early as Summer B (2025), Fall 2025, and no later than Spring H2 2026 to be eligible for this program.
- Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) – unless enrolled in a program that is not financial aid eligible or if there are extenuating circumstances that result in not being able to complete the FAFSA. A FAFSA waiver must be requested from the Valencia College Financial Aid Department.

Enroll at Valencia College by Spring 2026 at the latest.
Upon graduation, send your final High School transcripts to Valencia College.
