Eligible Test Scores
All Dual Enrollment applicants are required to have college-ready test scores on file with Valencia College, by the deadline for the desired term of enrollment. Any combination of eligible scores will be accepted; find eligible test scores below.
All students are required to submit and have college-ready test scores on file at Valencia College for reading, writing and math, by the deadline for the desired term of enrollment. Any combination of eligible scores (see below) will be accepted.

Submitting Test Scores
Valencia only accepts scores from exams completed within the past 2 years. PERT exam taken at the high school: All PERT tests taken at the high school are retrieved by Valencia College at the district level. You do not need to submit PERT scores to Valencia
- ACT: you are responsible for logging into your ACT account via act.org and requesting for your test scores to be sent to Valencia College. ACT scores are not valid until received and processed by Valencia College; this process takes five weeks..
- SAT: you are responsible for logging into your SAT account via collegeboard.org and requesting for your test scores to be sent to Valencia College. SAT scores are not valid until received and processed by Valencia College; this process takes five weeks..
If you have not taken any of the above mentioned exams, the PERT can be taken a maximum
of three times at Valencia within a two-year period. You must have a VID in order to take the PERT at Valencia. The first time taking the PERT will be free of cost; each re-take will have a cost
of $10 per section. It is your responsibility to submit eligible test scores by the
test score deadline.

As per Florida Rule 6A-10.04213, prior to the award of an associate in arts or baccalaureate degree, you must demonstrate competency in civic literacy through one of the following options prior to graduation: successfully passing POS 2041 U.S. GOVERNMENT. or AMH 2020 U.S. HISTORY 1877 TO PRESENT orsuccessfully passing a prescribed assessment: AP Government & Politics: United States Test (passing score =3, or AP United States History Test (passing score = 4), or CLEP American Government (passing score = 50)
