There are several Florida state scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for – including Florida Bright Futures and Florida Academic Scholars.

Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program
Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program is a state scholarship awarded to Florida high school graduates who demonstrate high academic achievement. Applications and eligibility criteria are available from your high school guidance office or from the Florida Department of Education website: www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org.
Valencia College receives information about eligible Bright Futures scholars directly from the Florida Department of Education. You must designate Valencia College as the school you plan to attend by visiting www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org or calling 1-888-827-2004.
To be eligible:
- You must enroll for at least six credits of college-level course work each term.
- You must be classified as a Florida resident and be a degree-seeking student.
- You must be a U.S Citizen or eligible non-citizen.
