Valencia College will be closed for Spring Break from Monday, March 16, through Sunday, March 22. For general assistance, you can call 407-582-1507. The college will open and resume all services on Monday, March 23.

Payroll Schedules

Part-time and Work Study Employees

Part-time Employees:

  • These employees complete a Personnel Action Form HR-28 or enter their hours through Web Time Entry.
  • The HR-28 is submitted directly to Payroll Services.
  • Employees in this category should not exceed a total of 25 hours per week without the prior approval from the department vice president or campus president.

Work Study Employees:

  • This category includes students working in the Institutional Work Study and Federal Work Study Programs.
  • Employees in this category complete an hourly time sheet, WS1 for Institutional or FCWS for Federal.
  • The hourly pay rate for work study employees is $10.00. 
  • Employees in this category should not exceed a total of 20 hours per week.

Note: An Employee Who Works Part-Time And Work-Study Should Not Exceed 20 Hours Per Week Between Both Job Assignments.
